It took 22 years, practically the life of a young adult, for La China, Genaro and Ulises, characters from the movie “Amarte Duele”, to be reunited following the painful death of Renata in a bus terminal.
Everyone knows that Genaro and Ulises were members of the same gang, when the latter met an upper-class girl with whom he fell madly in love.
But perhaps few remember that La China, who also belonged to the less favored class, had her heart set on Ulysses.

“That old woman is not the same as you, son,” La China reproaches him in a sequence, while with the rest of the band he visits the rock market from the beginning of the century.

Now, through his Facebook account, Luis Fernando Peña uploaded a photo of the three actors who played the characters, of course him being the modern “Romeo”, along with Armando Hernández and Daniela Torres.
“The gang met once more following 22 years,” the actor wrote in his publication, which in 24 hours exceeded 150 thousand likes.
“How beautiful!. The first time I saw the movie I cried and I identified. Today I remember those beautiful years,” said user Rachel Vazquez.

When it was presented at a press conference, Sariñana himself said that “Amar te duele” was a kind of modern “Romeo and Juliet”, in which impossible love would always be there.
