Honorable Aly Kaba, former President of the RPG Rainbow Parliamentary Group
“I begin by reiterating my deepest condolences to his biological family and all the people of Guinea. The Honorable Louncény Camara was a great executive in this country. You will remember that he had to practice at the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI), where he assumed important functions before benefiting from the confidence of his peers to lead the institution. After this work, the results of which are known to all, and given his probity and integrity, he benefited from the confidence of President Alpha Condé who had successively appointed him to head the departments of tourism and the hotel industry. ; fishing and aquaculture; Urban planning, housing and land use planning. After leaving the government, he always remained this combative man and at the disposal of the rainbow RPG. He invested himself in strengthening the party in his native prefecture, Macenta, he had the confidence of his colleagues to be invested as a candidate in the legislative elections of March 2020. He was therefore elected deputy of the 9thlegislature under the banner of the Rainbow RPG. And, given his experience, his integrity and his great morality, our parliamentary group has decided to present him as a candidate for the presidency of the Regional Planning, Transport and Energy Commission. I admit that this Commission was one of the very prayers to challenge the members of the government, to bring them to the work in Commission and Inter Commissions, with the aim of straightening the work of these departments and correcting the imperfections for the great happiness of the people of Guinea. He was very regular in the meetings of the Parliamentary Group and knew how to express what he thought. And if he wasn’t right he also knew how to accept it. He was a frank and correct man who didn’t like to say yes when he thought inwardly that it was no. We are losing a great collaborator and great son of this country whom we have lost in conditions that we all regret,” said this senior official of the former presidential party.
In addition, Aly Kaba appeals to the Court of Repression of Economic and Financial Offenses (CRIEF) to judge the many executives retained in his links.
“We appeal to the conscience of the CRIEF to expedite the procedures concerning all the managers and executives who are in these conditions to avoid what happened and to prevent a recurrence. And that each other is situated on their fate so that we don’t wake up another day with such sad news. May God forbid us”, wished the Honorable Aly Kaba.
This senior official of the rainbow RPG remembers the last meeting with this former president of the CENI and which dates back to March 31, 2022, on the occasion of the Convention relating to the establishment of the Provisional Executive Committee of the RPG Rainbow.
