[게임플] The real ‘Diablo 4’ begins when you finish the campaign.
The second part of the video series ‘Introducing the Game’, in which the developers of ‘Diablo 4’ directly introduce the game, has been released. The video theme is ‘beyond the highest level’. It contains information regarding the end content that users consider most important in the ‘Diablo’ series.
It highlighted various activities at the end of the game, such as Supreme and Nightmare dungeons, Conqueror boards, Power Codes, and Battlegrounds of Hatred. Key developers such as Joe Shirley, Game Director, and Associate Game Director Joseph Pipiora appeared.
In Diablo 4, users can continue to grow by following the game narrative. Even following completing the campaign, there are many ways to enjoy the game and elements to grow. Attack the special content called the best dungeon, and following completing the dungeon, the first world stage opens.
Each time you complete a world stage, you can move on to the next one, increasing your chances of getting powerful loot and items. Among various contents such as dungeons, PvP, and pure world exploration, the point is that users can continue whatever they like.
When you enter the end content, beyond the skill tree, the ‘conqueror system’ is at the center of character growth. It provides many opportunities to complete your own character build beyond the skill tree given at the beginning of the game.
When the conqueror board is open, you have a wider and deeper choice. You can choose a different path by turning the board, or you can freely change the path in that direction if you want to develop your character with a focus on strength, or if you want to get a specific grace or symbol. As the character continues to expand, it is a means to make it entirely the user’s own.
The ‘Code of Power’ also has a similar purpose to the Conqueror board. When you complete a dungeon, you get a phase with a certain probability. Aspects allow you to turn items you find in the world into legendary items by making them more powerful. By combining phases with rare items with good options, the number of cases for an item is infinite.
‘Nightmare Dungeon’ gives users a new opportunity to experience dungeons they have already experienced while playing the game. You can change the dungeon attack method and difficulty with the seals obtained from the game. Dungeons become more difficult, goals are added, and attributes are attached, so you may encounter unexpected difficulties.
The attribute disclosed as an example is the gate of hell. Occasionally, as dimensional doors open throughout the Nightmare Dungeon, all kinds of monsters that do not come out of the original place pour out. Of course, you have to deal with the other enemies that were originally in the dungeon. The combination of monsters is random, so be vigilant.
There are over 120 dungeons available in Diablo 4, and any of them can become a nightmare dungeon. After obtaining the seal of nightmare and using it, the dungeon space becomes a nightmare version. Everything is darker and more difficult, and it is expected to be a special pleasure in dungeon exploration.
Endgame field content is also prepared for users who prefer exploration. The Sanctuary is a vast, interconnected outdoor world, where demonic influence grows stronger in some areas. This is called the Hellwave Zone. When the user enters the waves of hell, he encounters more powerful demons. You can get special rewards by defeating these monsters, and you can also buy very good rewards by collecting fragments from storage boxes everywhere.
The ‘whisper tree’ is also one of the beings that revive the atmosphere of the sanctuary. Although he treats users with disapproval and seems to be giving orders, he also exchanges them for meaningful items when he obtains rewards and items through bounty hunting and brings them back to the tree.
The group PvP content ‘Battlefield of Hate’ is located throughout the sanctuary. It is a trace of Lilith’s demonic hand reaching out to the sanctuary and poisoning the world. When you enter this area, you can fight other users.
You can collect fragments through battles with users, but be aware that you must purify the fragments before you can take them to the village. This is because there will be other users who try to block the purification and steal the fragments. If you safely purify the shard without losing it, you can purchase various cosmetic items or rewards with it.
Diablo 4 will be released on June 6, and as a live service game, various contents will be updated even following its release. Blizzard announced on April 21st (Korean time) that ‘Rhykker’, a YouTuber specializing in action RPGs, will participate as a special guest and host a developer livestream.
