Evolution in continuity: this seems to be Xiaomi’s leitmotif. Unsurprisingly, the Smart Band 7 does not shake up the codes of the Asian brand. The connected bracelet is however evolving on several important points, starting with the readability of its interface and the quality of its application. Enlarging the screen has a lot to do with it, making the user experience more pleasant than before.
Enduring and rather efficient, the Smart Band 7 however suffers from defects that are beginning to tire. The main one is the lack of an ambient light sensor. The lack of a GPS chip is also felt, but given the advertised price, it might pass once more this year…
In the end, most indicators are green for a purchase. Unless you already have a Smart Band 6 bracelet, too close in functionality to justify an update to Band 7.
