Dani Alves, the former Barcelona and Brazil player accused of raping a girl, will make his statement before the judge next Monday, as he intends to reveal all the details of the case that has kept him behind bars since last January.
Barcelona police arrested Dani Alves, the player who won the most championships in history, on January 20, on charges of raping a girl in a nightclub on December 30 of last year, and the judge refused to release him on parole.
The famous Spanish radio “Cadena Ser” said that Alves asked to testify before the judge next Monday, and the latter agreed, following he changed his statements 4 times earlier since the start of the investigation with him.
Alves denied knowing the victim at first, then changed his statements and indicated that he knew her, following which he accused her of sexual assault, and that his previous denial came to protect his marriage, and in the fourth time he admitted to having a sexual relationship with her.
The girl accuses Alves, one of the most prominent soccer players in the current century, of raping her in a night club restroom, and the judge considers that the evidence she provided is strong and sufficient to charge the player.
