Dammam: The AlUla Date Fair in Madinah will begin next month. Organized in two phases, the fair will last from September 8 to November 11. AlUla is home to some of the oldest date varieties and plantations in Saudi Arabia.
Date fair is organized to target more visitors and market. The fair comes with a large collection of different varieties of fruits produced in the ancient date plantations of Madinah. The Royal Commission under Al-Ula Governorate announced that the fourth edition of the fair will be held from September 8 to November 11.
This time the fair is organized in two stages. The first phase will be held from September 8th to October 28th at Al-Azizia New Auction Center and the second phase will be held from October 13th to November 11th at Mansheya Market. There will be an opportunity to get to know farmers and their families and local artists and art forms in person at the fair.
And the fair will provide facilities to enjoy the variety of local flavors and get different types of dates and related products. Farmers will have the opportunity to directly display and sell their produce and learn regarding changes and techniques in agriculture. The organizers also informed that the fair will be facilitated for meetings with investors.
