This tour, next to Subachoque, it is highly traveled by cycling lovers during the weekends by people from Bogotá and La Sabana. Being a short ascent with little difficulty, it is suitable for those who are starting to ride a bike or who simply want to take a walk and play sports.
Japo considers that this is “a very nice port” that “is in very good condition” so that cyclists are encouraged to do so. For these short ascents, “which are more or less than 15 minutes, the idea is to make them progressive from less to more.”
And as is customary in the routes of WEEK on the Routewith the support of the Government of Cundinamarca, the strategic and obligatory stop is for “a coffee and an arepa”, with the intention of recharging energy to continue pedaling.
