Altercation at Altitude 100 leads to serious injury as game of Monopoly turns into katana fight, leaving two wounded.

The Forest neighborhood had a shocking incident on Sunday morning whereby residents discovered a dozen bloodstains on the ground with scattered Monopoly tickets on Oscar Van Goidtsnoven Avenue, just a few steps from Altitude 100. Contrary to most assumptions, there was no fraudulent activity or paper hoaxes, but a true Monopoly game that turned into a violent altercation.

According to reports, on April 2, a group of four people, including a man and three women, were playing Monopoly on a public highway. Unfortunately, their playing schedule and location disturbed a local resident who came out of his house with a stick in his hand. A verbal altercation broke out between him and the players, prompting the resident’s son to intervene. The son emerged out of the house, wielding a katana in its holster.

The situation escalated when the two men came to blows, and the son’s katana caused grave injuries to both individuals. They were both transported to the hospital, although the player has since been discharged, whereas the son is still in critical condition.

The player and the son have been taken into custody, and subsequent to the hearing, the player was released.

A chilling scene surprised residents of the Forest this Sunday morning. Avenue Oscar Van Goidtsnoven, a few steps from Altitude 100, they discover a dozen bloodstains on the ground on which Monopoly tickets are scattered. No counterfeit scam or worthy story paper house. It is indeed a real game of Monopoly which is at the origin of the drama.

This Sunday, April 2, a group of four people – a man and three women – played the famous board game on the public highway. The game and especially the schedule and its place visibly annoyed a local resident. The inhabitant comes out of his house, stick in hand, and a verbal altercation ensues between him and the players. The resident’s son then decides to intervene. He also comes out of the house in his turn, armed with a katana in its holster. “The player tried to grab the katana and removed the holster. The son tried to get it back,” explains the Midi police zone to us.

The two men came to blows and the katana, taken out of its sheath, caused serious injuries to the two individuals. Both were transferred to hospital. The player has already been able to get out of it but the days of the son are still in danger.

The son and the player were arrested. After hearing, the player was released.

In conclusion, what started as a fun game of Monopoly on a public highway turned into a serious altercation with life-threatening consequences. It is a reminder that even seemingly innocent activities can quickly escalate and lead to dangerous situations. Hopefully, everyone involved in this incident will recover fully, and measures will be taken to prevent such incidents from happening once more in the future. Let us remember to always be mindful of our actions and the impact they may have on others.
