Also in Israel: Visair launches a new flight club, but there are small letters

In the midst of a wave of large-scale flight cancellations, the Hungarian airline Visair is launching a “fly as you can” club and opening it up to flights to and from Israel as well. Visair’s club will operate in the 200 cities and 800 routes operated by the company, and will be the first club of its kind in Europe.

As you may recall, with the beginning of the wave of flight cancellations, Visaire announced the suspension of its flights to Israel for two days, but since then it has managed to return its flights to all the routes it operates in Israel.

Visair is the most popular low-cost airline in Israel today, and according to the airport authority’s data, last July, Visair reached the third place in the scope of operations in Israel, with 6.99% of the passengers, which make up over 124 thousand passengers in total.

● Air India has suspended flights until after the holidays. How can you get to the east and what is the price?
● Is the security situation just an excuse? Why do the low cost companies not want to come to Israel?
● The sky closes almost completely, even Israeli flights are in danger of cancellation
● The flight was cancelled, did the hotel money go too?

How much will club membership cost?

An annual membership in the “Fly as you can” club will cost 599 euros per year and will provide passengers with access to flights in the entire network for an additional 9.99 euros (NIS 41). The company’s customers will be able to travel more frequently and save money from regular ticket prices. For the benefit of the launch of the new club, Visaire launched a launch promotion that will continue for the next two days, as part of which it will offer a discount of 100 euros from the full price. The pre-sale started today (Tuesday) at 11:00 and will end on August 15 at midnight.

Who is club membership relevant to?

Membership in the club is mainly relevant for spontaneous travelers, those who can purchase flight tickets at the last minute, because customers will only be able to choose flights from available destinations that have seats left 72 hours before the date and time of the flight.

What should you pay attention to?

Requested dates may not be relevant to the club members, since the possibility to purchase tickets is only from available destinations where places remain. In addition, in most cases it will not be possible to book round-trip flights under these conditions, but in one direction only, in cases where the planned return date is more than 72 hours from the moment of ordering the ticket. It also appears from the fine print that the baggage conditions on these tickets only include a backpack, and for additional baggage an additional fee must be paid.

Is there a limit on the number of annual flights?

The subscription allows you to enjoy an unlimited number of flights per year, but there is a limit of up to three flights per day.

How long is the club membership valid for?

Club membership is valid for one passenger and for a period of 12 months.

When will the club come into effect?

The club will come into effect at the end of this September, starting on September 25.

To which destinations will it be possible to fly cheaply from Israel thanks to club membership?

To all destinations operated by Visayer in Israel, including: Vienna, Abu Dhabi, Milan, Rome, Varna, Sofia, London, Budapest, Vilnius, Warsaw, Krakow, Bucharest, Iasi, Larnaca and Athens. In addition, it will be possible to fly under the terms of the club for onward flights with the company to the various destinations to which it operates flights around the world.

Is it possible to stop the subscription in the middle?

It is not possible to terminate the subscription plan before the end of the 12 month period. The subscription is automatically renewed every year, and you can withdraw from it within 14 calendar days from the date of registration, by sending a cancellation statement to the Visair website.
