O Apple Vision Pro It hasn’t even been released yet, but we already have supposed information about the second generation of Maçã’s virtual/augmented reality headset. According to a source from MacRumorsthe device will be very similar to the original, but with some specificities.

The biggest difference with the second Vision Pro — internally called project at Apple “Alaska” (codename N109) — for the first it would be on your speakers. Instead of the rounded holes present in the original device, it should have types of rods, which will be flat and uniform along their entire length.

The documentation relating to the project, which included two different design configurations for the upper openings at a certain point in the development, still makes reference to an “elusive” audio accessory — which, according to the website, could be a external speaker.

Another change would be in the back straps that serve as support for the users’ heads. They would have a simpler design — which could be an indication that the second generation of the product would cost less than the first — and would be similar to the straps found on laptop bags and backpacks.

In terms of similarity, the device would have the same curved aesthetics, button positioning and an external battery similar to the first generation. It would also feature a variety of cameras and sensors, and support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, and ultra-low latency audio (ULLA).

Still according to the MacRumors, the product information came from a source that has provided accurate details about Apple’s plans in the past. However, as this is a project in development, it is possible that the company will change one thing or another before production actually begins.
