And six in Las Vegas! If it was still necessary to prove that the new American Grand Prix inaugurated this weekend on the calendar takes on a very special dimension in the communication of the teams, this umpteenth special livery unveiled before the event does it wonderfully.

After Ferrari, Alpine, Williams, Red Bull et Alfa RomeoIt is AlphaTauri which unveiled unique colors to take to the streets of the entertainment capital of the world. The AT04 piloted by Daniel Ricciardo et Yuki Tsunoda will feature a striped pattern around the engine hood and sidepods, the result of a collaboration with Brendan Monroe and his Las Vegas Capsule collection.

Unlike other teams which have chosen a special livery in Las Vegas, the case of AlphaTauri is even more special. The Italian team specifies that it will keep this decoration until the end of the season, and that it will therefore be used once more next week for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the final round of the championship.

The disappearance of the logo of the Red Bull ready-to-wear brand, previously prominent on the engine hood, ensures the perfect transition to the new era into which the Faenza structure must enter in 2024. After having been the subject of rumors of sale at the start of the year, the team was ultimately retained by Red Bull but with redefined objectives and operations, and management which will be provided by Laurent Mekies and Peter Bayer to succeed Franz Tost.

Above all, the identity will change since we have known for several months already that the ex-Scuderia Toro Rosso will once once more change its name, without this being made official to date. On the other hand, the driver duo formed by Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda has been confirmed since the end of September.

On the track side, the team is having a reassuring second half of the season following a very difficult start. The development of the AT04 ended up bearing fruit, allowing AlphaTauri to leave tenth and last place in the manufacturers’ championship. Now eighth, the team can still hope to dislodge Williams from seventh place in the event of a big result in Las Vegas and Abu Dhabi, since seven points separate the two teams.
