Following yesterday’s opening, today’s Tirol Day is the first highlight of the Alpbach European Forum 2024. “The most innovative minds from politics, science, business, art and culture gather every year in Alpbach. We bring together decision-makers from Europe and the world to engage in mutual dialogue across all political and social borders.
The focus of this year’s “Euregio Days” is “artificial intelligence”. As part of this programme, innovative research work on this topic will be showcased and awarded. The Euregio Summit, held on August 18, was dedicated to exploring the opportunities and challenges that artificial intelligence brings to the Euregio region of Tirol-South Tyrol-Trentino. Trey Hill: „Since 1945, the Alpbach Forum has been a place dedicated to solving the most important issues of the time. Artificial intelligence is obviously one of them. We are advancing advanced projects in this field in the Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino region.

EFA24’s annual theme “Moments of Truth” refers to the groundbreaking decisions that will be taken in the super election year of 2024: decisions that will test Europe in a time of multiple crises of continued war, high living costs and climate catastrophe. Some 4,000 participants from the fields of politics, business, civil society, culture and science, including 500 young scholarship winners, are working together to find solutions to these challenges.
