Alola Season, March Community Day (2022), and more

February comes to an end and Pokémon Go It is already preparing for everything that it brings during the month of March, between the Community Day, weekly batches, the new Alola Season, new guests in the raids, among others.

Next, we will show you everything that Pokémon Go offers us for March:

Date and details of the Alola Season of Pokémon Go and March Community Day

If last month we talked regarding Johto, this month will be characterized by the island region of Alola, the one that first introduced strange variations of pokémon that we already knew. Therefore, the March event Pokémon Go It will be called Season of Alola.

On Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm local time, March Community Day will occur.. Featured Pokémon will be Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew. Both will appear in the wild more often. There is a reward for evolving either during the event or up to two hours following it:

If Sandslash is evolved during this time, it will automatically learn Shadow Slash. This is a charged attack that deals 50 damage both in trainer battles and in gyms and raids.

If Alolan Sandslash is evolved during this time, it will automatically learn Shadow Claw. This is a fast attack that deals 6 damage in trainer fights and 9 damage in gyms and raids.

These are the event bonuses:

  • A quarter of the distance to hatch required when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event.
  • Incense activated during the event will last for three hours.
  • Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
  • There is a surprise for taking snapshots during this time.
