Summer, sun, beach and the highest density of Hawaiian shirts beyond Honolulu: At the WEKA summer night festival on Roberto Beach in Aschheim, the electronics and ICT industry celebrated a boisterous party with South Seas flair under the motto “Aloha WEKA”.
Schlager legend Paul Kuhn was certain: “There is no beer in Hawaii – and only the hulahula keeps you thirsty.” Well, none of the numerous guests at the traditional summer night party of WEKA Fachmedien on June 29th probably went home thirsty. But with beautiful memories of a warm summer evening with sand under your feet, flower garlands around your neck and – let’s say it neutrally – extremely colorful outerwear.
