Almost all major US financial companies switched to “remote” – OfficeLife

American Express and BlackRock follow other major American financial companies incline
employees to work from home due to a new round of the coronavirus pandemic.

Top management says it is concerned regarding the sharp rise in the spread of omicron. However, everyone is not transferred to complete “remote”. American Express, for example, plans to have employees visit the office one to three days a week.

BlackRock decided to be flexible. You can work where it is more convenient for employees. Offices are available, but you can stay remotely. Previously, a full return to full-time office work due to the omicron was postponed by such well-known American players in the financial sector as JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup and Goldman Sachs.

The authorities in New York, where the giants are headquartered, are concerned that the de-population of business centers will harm service workers. Catering and cleaning companies may experience a drop in revenue.
