IFK Karlskrona found both fluency and fire in the attacks and were able to break Anderstorps SK. HK Varberg was best in the end against IFK Ystad, thanks in large part to an alert goalkeeper in Carl Aronius.
Karlskrona took revenge after their premiership loss against Lugi and had control at Anderstorp. Fairly cool crowd interest (121 spectators) met IFK, but the home team organized their own energy and had good pressure in the offensive.
Axel Friberg on the left wing netted eight times, ditto for seasoned Daniel Steen made sure that the guests did not keep up, neither in the shooting moments nor in the goal score.
Friberg took a good hold when ASK got close to 18–16, then the five closest to the home goal came in a mixture of penalties and edge corners from the new acquisition, and Karlskrona was on safe ground from 23–19.
Varberg invited Ystad in the middle of the match, on the whole the home team had no problems keeping away. The visitors got rid of Filip Pettersson (red card) at the end of the first half but made a flying start immediately after the break when 17-12 was tied in four minutes.
Varberg responded with Carl Aronius 18-17 in an open net, then much was about the goalkeeper who was behind a number of capable saves and held back Ystad’s reduction opportunities. The best among the outfield players was Julian Sjögren with six goals in the winning team, Ystad’s Vilhelm Ernst had to console himself with eight hits.
