The indictment, submitted through attorney Yonatan Tal from the Tel Aviv District Attorney’s Office, states that in June Luzon spent time with his partner in the pool in the yard of his private home, and the two had intimate relations. At that time, the defendant Nouriel walked near the house, and noticing the actions of the two, recorded them on video , and sent it to a number of people, including the accused Ryan, who also distributed the video in a WhatsApp group with his friends.
As part of the correspondence in the group, an idea came up to blackmail Luzon or send the video to one of his associates, and at the beginning of July, another person contacted Luzon and threatened him to distribute the video that came into his possession, if he did not pay him a sum of money. Ryan contacted Luzon’s associate, and falsely claimed to him that a man named Inbar Levy took the video and presented it to him.
Following this, the associate called Inbar Levy’s phone, which was actually another phone number of the two defendants, and asked to negotiate with them so that he would delete the video. In response, Ryan asked the associate for NIS 13,000. When the associate refused to pay, Ryan asked the associate to send him the number Luzon’s phone, while threatening him.
Following this, the video was widely distributed, and was sent by various electronic means to a large number of people, and in particular to Luzon’s family members, and the existence of the video and its contents were also published in the media. With the publication of the video’s existence in the media, Nouriel contacted some of the people to whom he sent the video and asked them to delete it and their correspondence on this matter, with the aim of thwarting a future criminal investigation.
