“Al-Diyar” quoted a prominent source in “Al-Mustaqbal” that Siniora did not find a place in the north following the deputies of Azraq who ran from Tripoli to Akkar and Minieh al-Dinniyeh, most notably Sami Fatfat, Othman Alamuddin and Hadi Hbeish, as well as the former leader of the Future Movement, Mustafa Alloush, cut off the road to Siniora. Especially that Alloush refused to break Hariri’s decision on the Tripoli arena and head a list supported by Siniora, so he decided to be in principle with a list that included him with Sami Fatfat and Othman Alam Al-Din, even though the latter (Alam Al-Din) has not decided his matter regarding the list yet.
This atmosphere intersected with what Alloush explained in a call with Al-Diyar, when he said: I understand Siniora’s decision and his fears, but I certainly am not going to the electoral battle to break Hariri’s decision, but rather to reduce the loss and the burden of absence from the Sunni arena and to prevent the emergency, the owners of capital and those affiliated with Hezbollah from controlling the seats. It is understood from Alloush’s words that he will not break Hariri’s decision and be on a list facing his decision.
