Data miners have discovered that a new Allied Race might be added to World of Warcraft with the release of The War Within update. This information was published on Wowhead.
The allied race is called the Earthlings. They are mutated dwarves who can activate the power of Azerite and minerals. Judging by the information from data miners, the race will be completely neutral (like, for example, the pandarens), but its representatives will have to decide from the start on the choice of the Horde or the Alliance. All classes will be playable except Druids, Awakeners and Demon Hunters. Terran players will be able to distinguish them from ordinary dwarves and Dark Iron dwarves not only by their appearance, but also by their size: the models will be 20% larger.
Access to Earthlings will only open following completing the campaign. This probably won’t happen in patch 11.0, but with the next major update.
