On December 27, 2015, the two defendants who appeared in court on June 30 met two runaway minors, aged 14 and 16, at Namur station. In the apartment of one of the two men, the 4 people consumed alcohol, cannabis and ecstasy. The two girls woke up the next day, suffering from pain in their genitals and noticing the presence of used condoms. During the evening, the defendants exchanged messages relating to sexual acts performed on the victims. One of them took photos of the pubis of one of the victims, asleep on a couch.

The only defendant present at the hearing, who is also the subject of an internment order following an arson for which he was found guilty, denied the facts. “I went to sleep alone and played on the console. The messages exchanged were for laughs, they did not mention the events that took place.”

The Namur public prosecutor’s office demanded for these charges of rape, indecent assault and facilitation of the use of narcotics, internment for one and 4 years in prison for the other, without opposing a possible probationary suspension. .

Me Preumont pleaded for the simple suspension of the sentence for his client, who is currently working abroad. Me Fery pleaded for acquittal with the benefit of the doubt for his client, currently interned since June 2022. “The complaint came one year following the facts, no gynecological expertise might be carried out. The victims are not formal in their interviews as to whether they were raped.”

This Friday, the court ruled that the charges of rape had not been established, unlike the others. The first defendant benefits from the suspension of the sentencing for a period of 3 years. In view of his mental disorder which persists today, internment is pronounced for the second.
