Juarez City- The probable family dispute over the custody of a girl has generated a strong police mobilization when the theft of the minor was reported. Adrián Sánchez Contreras, spokesman for the Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM), reported that the minor has not yet been recovered.
“Unfortunately, the parents of the minor have already passed away and custody is held by a sister of the mother. The one who takes the girl is the paternal grandmother in the company of three other women”, said the spokesman.
The events occurred this Monday outside the “Piolín” campus, located on Bernardo Norzagaray Boulevard.
Through social networks Carla Garcés asked for the support of citizens to locate the girl.
“My friend just had her daughter snatched from her when she was picking her up from school, in a black F150-type van with brown fenders, in the Altavista area. The report has already been made to the police. Please help us. I don’t know what else to do for them, ”the woman shared in the message next to the photo of her little girl on her first day of school.
