Fatima Sohail shared a long post on Facebook in which she accused her husband of beating her and having an affair despite being married.
Fatima Sohail started her post by writing that tolerating cruelty is a sin, after which she wrote in her story that I am the wife of Mohsin Abbas Haider and this is my story.
On 26 November 2018, I found out that he was having an affair, so I asked for an answer, instead of being embarrassed, he started beating me. At that time, I was pregnant, he used to drag me by my hair and drag me to the ground. He used to beat and push him against the wall with punches on the face.
I was beaten like a beast by my husband, scared me, instead of calling a family member I contacted a friend after which I was rushed to the hospital. The doctor initially refused to jack me up as it was a police case, I needed some time so I could not register an FIR immediately.
After my ultrasound, relieved that my baby was safe, I decided to give this marriage another chance for the sake of my baby.
I was born on 20 May 2019, I had a surgery because there were some complications in my delivery, when I was in the operation theater of the hospital in Lahore, my husband was sleeping with his girlfriend model Nazish Jahangir in Karachi.
She later shared a post about suffering from the same depression to gain public attention, my family stood by me but my partner decided not to support.
Mohsin came to meet 2 days after delivery just so that he could take pictures and then get public attention, he did not even ask about the well being of his son.
On July 17, I went to Mohsin’s house where I asked him to take responsibility for his son, at which point he started beating me again while refusing to do anything for his son.
But enough is enough, that’s why I am posting all this here so that I can tell the girls that they know my situation, society pressure or not there should be a limit where you don’t tolerate any cruelty, it’s not for us. Can’t, we have to do something ourselves.
I had no idea how I would raise my son alone but I knew Allah would help me. Till that time I endured a lot of verbal and physical abuse, I received threats of divorce but now it is enough.
Finally, she said that all the evidence has been given here, now I will meet you in the court. In her post, Fatimah also shared pictures in which she can be seen with indigo marks on her hands and face.
On the other hand, Mohsin Abbas Haider dismissed all the allegations made by his wife as baseless.
In an interview, the singer-actor said that he was waiting for this to happen for a long time and he will come out with his truth soon.
Mohsin Abbas got married to Fatima Sohail in 2015. In 2016, news of Mohsin Abbas Haider’s separation from his wife also surfaced, but the actor remained silent and later dismissed these reports as baseless. In 2017, the actor’s first daughter was also born, whom he named Mahvin Abbas.
However, the actor’s daughter died in December of the same year, which he also announced on social media.
It should be remembered that in January of this year, Mohsin Abbas Haider shared through a post on social media that he is suffering from depression and it will kill him soon, after some time he deleted this post.
The actor said in the interview that he got a lot of help by talking about depression and friends and fans supported him a lot. A son was born to Mohsin Abbas Haider this year, who was named Haider Abbas Mohsin.
