YouTube satirist criticized the suspicions of celebrity favoritism, including tickets to Bruno Mars.
In the recently released web entertainment show ‘Dtoganjip’, a satirist was depicted visiting a restaurant with stewed pollack and speaking regarding his opinions.
The satire looked at the stewed pollack and asked, “How do you eat this?” In response, the employee brought out tongs and scissors, saying, “I’ll let you know,” to which Sae-kyung waved his hand and asked, “Do mothers usually do this?” The employee replied, “I don’t normally do it.”
Satire refused the helping hand, saying, “Then you don’t have to do it.” When the employee continued to try to help, Satire said, “It’s not real. “If you do it, when 100 customers come, you have to cut all 100 people,” he said.
Afterwards, Satire made a statement regarding celebrity preferences through a cookie video. He said, “Because it has to be the same. “You can’t get special treatment just because you’re on air,” he said.
In particular, the satire said, “I got tickets to Bruno Mars.” “Why does she receive preferential treatment just because she is a celebrity?” he pointed out, referring to the suspicion of preferential treatment for Bruno Mars’ performance in Korea last June.
At the time, Bruno Mars’ performance in Korea became a hot topic with many celebrities posting proof photos. However, suspicions of preferential treatment developed as it became known that most celebrities watched the performance from seats called royal seats.
In response to public anger, Hyundai Card Vice Chairman Chung Tae-young also took action.
