Mullanpur: Things have not gone smoothly for Mumbai Indians throughout the IPL season. The problems started when Rohit Sharma was replaced by Hardik Pandya. Hardik has been booed and taunted since the start of the tournament. Mumbai also faced allegations of fixing during the match once morest RCB. Now there is another allegation once morest Mumbai Indians.
The new allegation is that the DRS was misused. The incident happened yesterday during the match once morest Punjab Kings. Arshdeep Singh’s ball went wide in the 15th over when Mumbai player Suryakumar Yadav struck. The referee did not call wide. Suryakumar did not seek review. But there was an instruction to go for an examination from the search in Mumbai.
Mark Boucher reported he was on the sidelines. Midfielder Tim Davidavette also requested a review. Then Suryakumar asked for a review. The third umpire also called in favor of Mumbai. Punjab skipper Sam Curran asked the umpire not to allow a review as the directive came from the dressing room. But the arbitrator rejected Curran’s request. Let’s read some tweets related to the incident…
I just saw a video of SKY reviewing a Wide which was pointed out by Tim David, who saw it on screen in Dugout and David knows it was filmed. Even following Sam Curran told the referee that this was called out by MI Dugout, the referee still largely accepted the review.

Gestures are commonplace in any dugout during a cricket match. Whether reacting to a wide shot, a loose ball, or commenting on how a particular shot was played, players and staff often use hand gestures and body language to express their thoughts .
