Thiruvananthapuram: Mathew Kuzhalnadan MLA wants Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to answer the allegation that his daughter Veena Vijayan received a monthly salary. He also said that the chief minister has an obligation to tell under what background Veena Vijayan bought such a large amount from the company related to black sand mining. He said that this matter will be raised in the assembly.

The Chief Minister did not have a definite answer to the questions regarding Veena’s company. The Chief Minister ran away from the question by challenging and yelling at the question in the Assembly. Pinarayi’s daughter personally received the money. The company can buy cash. But how can a person named Veena buy money? The Chief Minister should answer in what context the money was taken. A case should be filed under the Prevention of Corruption Act. Mathew Kuzhalnathan said that what is happening in Kerala is organized robbery and institutionalized corruption.

It has been alleged that Veena Vijayan was paid 1.72 crores in three years. The controversial finding is that the payment was made without providing the service. The transaction of Veena’s firm has been discussed in the Assembly before.

The documents revealed that the Chief Minister’s daughter directly received money from a private black sand company. Mathew Kuzhalnathan said that since the Income Tax Dispute Resolution Board found it to be an illegal transaction, it cannot be denied as an allegation.
