Mumbai: The Delhi Capitals-Chennai Super Kings match scheduled for Sunday at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai will go ahead as scheduled.
Earlier, Kovid confirmed to the Delhi team’s net bowler that all the players had entered the quarantine. After this, in the Kovid test, all the players decided to play the match with a negative.
The IPL officials had directed that all the players and other staff of the Delhi team should stay in the hotel rooms in the quarantine till the test results are received. This is the second time this season that Delhi players have been quarantined.
At the start of the season, Kovid had confirmed six players in the Delhi camp. With this, the matches of Delhi once morest Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals were shifted from Pune to Mumbai.
