The Summer Game Fest has been the great replacement for E3 since its disappearance 2 years ago. Thursday evening was the conference for the 2022 edition. LaPetitePelle, looks back on the surprises to which we had the right.
The Summer Game Fest has the heavy task of succeeding E3, the great historic gathering for gamers from all walks of life, definitively completed by Covid-19. This 2022 edition, started by Sony’s State of Play last week, has a lot of surprises in store for us. We obviously count Final Fantasy XVIwhich unveiled a gameplay trailer, but also Street Fighter 6 with the amazing addition of an open world for its single player mode. This week, we had the right to The Last of Us Part Iwhose surprise was spoiled by a leak on Sony’s official website, The Plucky Squire stealing the show. In short, a lot of tempting announcements, enough to make us wait until the releases of this fall.
