REDMI NOTE 11. Already available in China for a few months, the Redmi Note 11 series of smartphones is regarding to land in Europe. Discover all the features and information on these new low cost products.
It can be quite complicated to follow Xiaomi’s strategy for its smartphones Redmi Note 11. This range, released in China at the end of 2020, was notably unveiled with us a few months ago under the name of the Poco M4 Pro. It would therefore seem that the firm has still decided to offer a range actually called Redmi Note 11 in Europe. The latter should be unveiled in a few days, and we take stock of all the information already available regarding it!
What are the features of the Redmi Note 11?
The Redmi Note 11 will not be just one smartphone. According to the first information available, it would be a range that would have no less than three different models: the Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+. Each version would thus have specific features that might be suitable for different types of audience.
The classic Redmi Note 11 will not be confused with the Poco M4 Pro. The latter mainly takes up the model of the Chinese Redmi Note 11. Our European version should therefore be different and might even benefit from an exclusive configuration.
According to the first leaks regarding it, in particular by the MySmartPrice site, the Redmi Note 11 will benefit from three versions common to each model: 4Go + 64 Go / 4Go + 128Go / 6Go + 128Go.
Unlike the Chinese model equipped with a Dimensity 810 chip, the European Redmi Note 11 would only be equipped witha Snapdragon 680 processor not compatible with 5G communication networks. A choice that would be logical for an entry-level smartphone that is suitable for customers who can very well do without connectivity and a 5G plan.
No AMOLED screen planned for the Redmi Note 11! The latter would be provided with a by the IPS LCD FHD + and would only have a refresh rate of 90 Hz unlike the Pro versions.
At what price will the Redmi Note 11 be available?
The Redmi Note 11 range should still appeal to an audience looking for an entry-level smartphone. The Redmi Notes are known to be excellent, very affordable smartphones with their low price. The Redmi Note 11 range should therefore remain low cost with essential features.
As an indication, we give you the launch prices of the Redmi Note 10, which should approach the prices offered at the exit of the Redmi Note 11 range:
- Redmi Note 10: from 199 euros.
- Redmi Note 10 5G: from 229 euros.
- Redmi Note 10 Pro: from 279 euros.
What release date for the Redmi Note 11?
Although the Redmi Note 11 range does not yet have an official date, it is already possible to project. First of all, the official Xiaomi Twitter account gives an appointment to discover the new smartphones. We will therefore have to wait until January 26 at 1 p.m. (Paris time) to discover the new Redmi Note 11 phones.
The firm therefore takes a little head start with the new Redmi Note 11. As a reminder, the previous Redmi Note 10 had been unveiled in the middle of March for a release a few days following their presentation. If Xiaomi uses the same logic, the Redmi Note 11 should be available for purchase at the end of January.
