Rajasthan: The Rajasthan High Court has acquitted all the 4 convicts in the serial blast case in Jaipur. The court has given verdict on 28 appeals presented by the convicts including death reference in this case. During the hearing held on Wednesday, the High Court, while approving the appeal of the convicts, gave a relief verdict in their favor. The High Court has referred the case of a minor convicted in the case to the Juvenile Board. All the other accused were acquitted.
In 2019, the trial court had acquitted Shahbaz Hussain, an accused in the case. Whereas Mohammad Saif, Sarwar Azmi, Saifur Rahman and a minor were convicted. According to the information, all the five accused are residents of Uttar Pradesh.
During the hearing on this matter, the division bench of Justice Pankaj Bhandari and Sameer Jain said that the investigating officer did not have legal knowledge. Therefore, instructions have been given to the DGP to take action once morest the investigating officer as well. The court has also asked the Chief Secretary to conduct an inquiry by the investigating officers.

In the letter, Sharma said, “Empty liquor bottles have been thrown at my house. Suspicious people riding motorcycles have been seen circling outside the house for several days. He also took photographs outside the house. These terrorist groups are very dangerous. The judge has written in his letter whether it is my fault that I have awarded death sentence to four dreaded terrorists.
