All-Star Game starters announced

The headlines that will start the 92nd edition of the MLB All-Star Game, presented by Mastercard, to be played on July 19 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, have already been defined.

The announcement was made Friday through the 2022 MLB All-Star Headlines Announcement Show, presented by Chevrolet, broadcast on ESPN.

The Venezuelan of the Braves, Ronald Acuña Jr., and the Yankees slugger, Aaron Judge, secured their starting positions following being the most voted in the National and American, respectively, in Phase 1 of the Chevrolet Ballot of the All -Star, presented by Chevrolet.

The rest of the players who advanced were measured in the Final Phase in the popular votes to define the other positions.

LA: Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

The pitchers and the substitutes of both leagues – which add up to a total of 23 players for each side – will be determined with the “Players’ Ballot” and with the selections made by the Commissioner’s Office. Full rosters will be announced during the 2022 MLB All-Star Selection Chevrolet Show on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, broadcast on ESPN.
