The first matchups for the playoffs are in! Here is an overview of all series, all duels and all dates for the upcoming postseason.
Six duels have already been fixed, the last two participants in the playoffs will be determined in the remaining four play-in duels.

(1) Milwaukee Bucks vs. (8) Miami Heat (1-3)
The Bucks ended the regular season with the best record. This leaves the 2021 champion with home field advantage for the full playoffs. Opponents are the Miami Heat, who first lost to Atlanta in the play-in, but then beat the Chicago Bulls. This first-round matchup was two years ago, back then when it used a sweep for the heat.
