All possible steps are being taken to conduct transparent elections: Caretaker Prime Minister

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar has said that the Caretaker Government is taking all possible measures for the successful conduct of transparent elections in the country. In the elections, the people will decide which party should hand over the leadership of Pakistan.

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar said this in a meeting with the Commonwealth Observer Group. The Observer Group met the Prime Minister along with the delegation headed by Dr. Goodluck Abele Jonathan. The Prime Minister welcomed the arrival of the delegation to Pakistan regarding the elections.

The Caretaker Prime Minister appreciated Commonwealth Secretary General Patricia Scotland’s initiatives to strengthen Pakistan-Commonwealth relations.

Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar said that the elections of 2024 welcome the arrival of international observers for transparency, the government will provide all facilities to the international observers for the evaluation of the elections, the caretaker government will do everything for the successful conduct of transparent elections in the country. Possible measures are being ensured.

He said that the caretaker government is providing suitable environment to every party for its election campaign, the caretaker government is ensuring that all the facilities are provided to the Election Commission for the successful conduct of transparent elections. To which party should the leadership of Pakistan be handed over?

Meanwhile, the delegation conveyed a goodwill message to the Prime Minister on behalf of the Secretary General of the Commonwealth of Nations. The delegation described the arrangements of the Election Commission as satisfactory for the transparent conduct of the elections.
