“Calm must prevail, we must all realize that it is a new phase. Now we have presidential candidates, we have officially filed nominations”, said Nikos Pappas on the sidelines of the SYRIZA Central Committee meeting.
The president of the party’s executive committee emphasized that “and from the candidates, all of us and the whole world that follows SYRIZA, the whole progressive world, is waiting to hear how they will unite the party and how they will implement our collective decision to form a grand electoral progressive alliance. That is where the political disputes are and this discussion must be held in public and as many times as necessary”, he underlined.
