Six Indonesian representatives continued to advance to the All England quarter-finals. They will compete on Friday (15/3) starting at 17.00 WIB.
The two men’s doubles pairs who have won the title in the oldest badminton championship in the world, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Bagas Maulana/Muhammad Shohibul Fikri, will face the 2020 Tokyo Olympic medalists, namely Lee Yang/Wang Chi-Lin from Taiwan and Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik from Malaysia.
Meanwhile, two men’s singles athletes, Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Jonatan Christie, will also compete once more today. Anthony Sinisuka will face Viktor Axelsen from Denmark and Jonathan will face Shi Yu Qi from China.
In the women’s singles event, Gregoria Mariska Tunjung was challenged by Akane Yamaguchi from Japan. In another number, namely mixed doubles, there are Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja who will face Zheng Si Wei/Huang Ya Qiong from China.
