all criminals of the regime will be prosecuted

Simonovis to Ortega Diaz

Iván Simonovis, Juan Guaidó’s former Security and Intelligence Commissioner, responded to the statements made by Luisa Ortega Díaz in which he denied having committed crimes in Venezuela.

“I tell Luisa Ortega Díaz and all the criminals of the regime, including the Los Soles cartel, that they, their partners and relatives will be prosecuted. And not even cowardly hiding under the skirts of Russia, Iran or China will be saved, ”the former commissioner wrote on his Twitter account.

On interview for The National, The former Attorney General of the Republic assured that there is no evidence to demonstrate the alleged crimes he committed.

“All that some people say, who try to talk regarding alleged crimes through the networks, are lies, inventions and gossip,” he said.

Simonovis delivered a report accusing Ortega Díaz of committing criminal acts

in January, Simonovis delivered to the Embassy of Spain in the United States documents in which Ortega Díaz is allegedly accused of committing criminal acts. As well as a report that links former deputy Germán Ferrer, husband of the former official, with illegal activities.

“I am sure that the Spanish justice will value the information that we are sharing. We will continue working on the identification and search for all these people who committed crimes in Venezuela,” said the former commissioner on that occasion.

However, the former prosecutor asserted that there are people who “are afraid” of her actions, so they invent false evidence to accuse her.

“They are scared of what I do, what I am doing or what I can do. When I speak, they immediately leave because they get upset, they get terrified, they fear me. They know that I fight and will fight tirelessly for the defense of democracy. And for the restoration of the constitutional order in Venezuela”, she said in the conversation that he had exclusively with The National.
