Świątek shouldn’t have any problems gr± in the Olympic tournament. Her place in the top 56 of the special Race To Paris ranking, which will be closed on June 10, i.e. after the end of the French Open, is not in danger. But he has to play one more match in the Billie Jean King Cup for the Polish national team. The next such opportunity will be in April. If she doesn’t perform, she should get a wild card from the ITF.
– Such cards are usually intended for tennis players who have not met the requirements but are among the best, or for those from poorer countries or who are, for example, in conflict with their own tennis federation and therefore are not entered into the Olympics – explained Mariusz Fyrstenberg in October on Dominik Senkowski’s channel “Program Tennisowy”.
The Olympic Games in Paris will be held on July 26-August 11, 2024. Before the Olympic Games, we have three of the four Grand Slams – Australian Open, Roland Garros and Wimbledon. The tournament on hard courts in Melbourne will start on Sunday, January 14.
