Inside, the AMG version differs from conventional sedans in touches. There were separate buttons for controlling the settings of the hybrid transmission, the graphics of the dashboard and the menu of the media system were changed, the AMG emblems appeared on the headrests, and the corresponding overlays appeared on the backs. A double-spoke sports steering wheel and a head-up display are standard equipment.
The Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance is designed for four, and there are no compromises for rear passengers. Curiously, there will be a delay in Level 3 autopilot on the hybrid super sedan, although such a system is already available for regular S-Classes. Active safety systems are available: there is recognition of pedestrians, cyclists and traffic signs, adaptive cruise control with auto braking, headlights with light prompts and much more.
