All about Sacha Bronwasser from The Smartest Person

A new season of The Smartest Person is in full swing. For the occasion, KRO-NCRV has opened a can of celebrities to compete for the win of the program. But who are all these people? JFK highlights them. This time with: Sacha Bronwasser.

If there is one thing that is central to the life and work of Sacha Bronwasser, it is art. You may know her from programs such as Plastic TV, Pressher writing for The Volkskrant and her own books.

What else do we know about Sacha Bronwasser?

Bronwasser was born in 1968 in Rijswijk, but grew up all over the Netherlands. She went to primary school in Groningen, attended secondary school in Valkenswaard and then studied in Breda. And finally, in 1996, she studied Art History at the University of Amsterdam.

Between 1998 and 2018 she wrote for De Volkskrant on a freelance basis about visual arts. At the moment she still writes and speaks about art for various media and other types of clients, we read in her biography.

But she is more than a journalist, curator and art critic. In 2019, a year after she left De Volkskrant, her debut novel was published Nothing is a lieIn 2023, novel number two was added: ListenA collection of short stories is planned for later this year, entitled The fates.
