Trained in Winterthur, the Zurich native played from the age of 15 with the ZSC Lions, in the Swiss Women Hockey League. Considered Europe’s best striker, Alina Müller joined Northeastern University, Boston, in the NCAA Division, the highest university level, in 2018, where she played for the Husky until this year.

She played 159 matches there during which she scored 98 goals and made 156 assists. In the Swiss team, Mirco Müller’s sister from Luganese has been present since 2013 in the A frame with whom she won bronze at the Sochi Olympics in 2014.

“Making my dream come true”

On the Pride website, Alina Müller said: “Boston is my second home. After five years as a Husky, I still wasn’t ready to go. I can’t wait to start my professional career playing for Pride.”

She added, “I’m super excited to represent Boston alongside some of the best players in the world and help the organization win more championships. I am very proud to be able to make my dream come true. None of this would be possible without the people around me, especially my family. Go Pride!”
