Alignment Health Plan announced it is expanding access to high-quality health care and services for its policyholders in Clark and Washoe counties through a new agreement with Intermountain Health. Beginning January 1, 2025, the agreement will offer Alignment Nevada policyholders access to more than 65 clinics in the Silver State, 35 of which are designated senior primary care clinics. In these counties, Alignment offers four HMO options, including a special needs plan for policyholders with qualifying chronic heart conditions and diabetes, a special needs plan for policyholders enrolled in both Medicare and Medicaid, and its Platinum+ plan Instacart (HMO), which earned a 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in 2024. Each year, CMS evaluates plans based on a 5-star rating, with 5 stars representing “excellent” performance “.
Star ratings for the 2025 plan year are expected to be announced in mid-October.
