Alienware announced, this Thursday (24), the launch of a new gamer monitor with an absurd refresh rate and other technologies that guarantee a fluid and glitch-free experience in games. The model is called “AW2524HF”, so it is a variation of the Alienware AW2524H, presented at CES 2023.
The key difference of the new monitor is its support for FreeSync Premium, while the older version supports NVIDIA G-SYNC. Along with VESA AdaptiveSync, the feature developed by AMD ensures that the device’s display delivers high refresh rate with Low Frame Rate Compensation (LFC) technology.
Moving on to its technical data, the Alienware AW2524HF is equipped with a 24.5-inch screen with Fast IPS technology that covers 99% of the sRGB color gamut, Full HD resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) and record-breaking 500 Hz refresh ratewhich is achieved through overclocking over its native frequency of 480 Hz.
The monitor supports HDR10 content display with a peak brightness of 400 nits and features TUV ComfortView Plus, which reduces the emission of blue light harmful to eye health.

Its high refresh rate is combined with a response time of just 0.5 milliseconds, ensuring advantages for competitive gamers with extremely fluid and glitch-free gameplay.
Speaking of its design, the monitor is equipped with a support that allows you to adjust the height and adjust the panel in three axes, in addition to having an embedded cable management system to make the gamer setup even more attractive.
In the connectivity department, the model offers two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs, one HDMI 2.1 and five USB 3.2 Gen 1.
price and availability
The Alienware AW2524HF will be available on Dell’s official website in the United States. Sales are expected to start on September 12th. O MSRP of the gaming monitor is $649 — around BRL 3,165, at the current conversion rate.
For now, there is no forecast for launch in other countries, but it is worth remembering that the manufacturer recently brought new peripherals to Brazil, including the Alienware AW420K keyboard.
