(AOF) – Alibaba announced that its new general manager, Eddie Yongming Wu, has also been CEO of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group since Sunday. He replaces Daniel Yong Zhang. The Chinese technology group indicated at the end of June that the latter, CEO of the group for 8 years, was going to leave his position to focus on the company’s “cloud” division. Daniel Yong Zhang therefore leaves the group. The company will continue to execute its previously announced plan to spin off the Alibaba Cloud Intelligence Group under a separate management team to be appointed soon.
