ACTOR turned singer Ali Mensan has released his second song, titled Fall in Love Again, about someone who finally falls in love again based on his experiences.
“So, I wrote this song when I was in high school, in 2003, which means it was 21 years ago, it was indeed a personal experience. The story is that at that time I was still in puppy love, in junior high I was disappointed, in high school I met a new figure who could heal my trauma, and finally I fell in love again,” said Ali, quoted on Wednesday (7/8)
The song tells the story of someone who is traumatized by falling in love and is so discouraged that he swears never to fall in love again, but ends up finding someone new who can heal the wound and make him fall in love again.
The songs written and sung by Ali are based on his experiences and stories from his friends.
Furthermore, Ali also wants to release an album, mini album, or extended play (EP), but this still needs to be discussed with the producer.
“We have prepared six singles until next year, maybe we will release them one by one first, if the response from Indonesian music listeners is good, we will consider maybe at least an EP or if we want an album, we will just add two or three songs,” he said.
Meanwhile, Ali admitted that he had started singing since school age, precisely from junior high school and writing songs in high school. However, at that time Ali’s confidence as a singer had not yet formed and he still felt he needed to learn a lot more.
