Libreville – August 13, 2022-The President of the Republic, His Excellency Ali Bongo Ondimba received today at the Seaside Palace his counterpart, His Excellency General Mahamat Idriss Deby Itno, President of the Transitional Military Council, President of the Tchad Republic.
The Chadian Head of State and the Gabonese President discussed bilateral issues and issues of common interest, particularly in the areas of Trade, Transport and Livestock.
At the center of the talks of the two personalities also figured the issues of Peace, Security and Stability in the Sub-region.
The two Heads of State were delighted with the excellent relations of friendship and brotherhood that unite their two countries. They also expressed their common desire to establish multi-sectoral diplomatic consultations with a view to raising the existing bilateral cooperation between Gabon and Chad to a higher level.
