ALGIERS – More than 2,000 exhibitors, including companies from the African continent and around the world, will present their products and services at the 4th edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF), scheduled for September 4 to 10, 2025 in Algiers, according to a press release from the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank), organizer of the event.
Under the theme “Bridge to New Opportunities,” IATF2025 will welcome more than 35,000 visitors from over 140 countries around the world, according to the statement, which anticipates more than US$44 billion in trade and investment deals during the week-long fair.
L’IATF 2025 will be marked by the presence of heads of state and government, ministers of commerce, finance, culture and other ministries as well as industry leaders, assures the same source.

The main activities planned for theIATF2025 include a trade exhibition, a four-day trade and investment forum with African and international speakers, and an African automotive industry show, the statement said.
Special days will be dedicated to countries as well as public and private entities to showcase trade and investment opportunities, according to Afreximbank, stressing that tourist and cultural attractions are also planned in the event programme which includes a Diaspora Day to highlight trade and cultural links between Africa and its communities abroad.
Also planned are a business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-government (B2G) platform for networking and business exchanges, the AU Youth Start-Up programme showcasing innovative ideas and prototypes, the African Research and Innovation Platform @ IATF for university students, researchers.
This biannual event, organized in collaboration with the African Union Commission (AUC) and the General Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), aims to support the development of intra-African trade and investment, particularly in the context of the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement.
