The Algerian President said, during a press conference with his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, during Tebboune’s visit to Cairo, that the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip suffer “full-fledged genocide” on a daily basis.
President Tebboune added that his country is working with Egypt on reaching a truce that allows the entry of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people, in light of the difficult situation that the Palestinian people are experiencing in Gaza as a result of the “siege and aggression.”
The Algerian President affirmed that his country supports reaching a political settlement in Libya on the basis of a Libyan-Libyan solution without external interference, stressing that “Egypt has never intervened between brothers except in order to bring points of view closer.”
President Tebboune expressed his country’s keenness to benefit from Egypt’s experience, especially in the field of construction, reconstruction and establishing new cities.
The Algerian President welcomed the expansion and strengthening of Egyptian investments in Algeria, in light of the strong fraternal relations between Egypt and Algeria, which were “built on strong foundations of joint struggle for decades.”
During a joint press conference with his Algerian counterpart, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi revealed intense Egyptian efforts during the past days to reach a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and allow aid to enter the Strip.
The Egyptian initiative for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip is based on a two-day ceasefire, with four Israeli hostages being exchanged with some Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons. Then, within 10 days, negotiations will be made to complete the procedures in the Strip, leading to a complete ceasefire and the introduction of… Aid.
