Algeria condemned, in the strongest terms and with the greatest firmness, the barbaric massacre committed by the Zionist entity against defenseless civilians who took refuge in the Al-Tabaeen school in Gaza to escape the deadly machine that follows them everywhere, not sparing them even during the performance of their prayers, said a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad on Sunday.
“This heinous crime, which constitutes a crime against humanity in its own right, adds to the bloody toll of the Zionist aggression, which includes proven crimes of genocide, undeniable war crimes and documented crimes against humanity, unprecedented in the history of humanity since the Second World War,” the statement read.
“Worse still, the Israeli occupation no longer only targets civilians through bombing, killing and destruction, but also through the spread of dangerous diseases and viruses that decimate innocent Palestinians in the Gaza Strip,” the same source added.
In this regard, Algeria has once again stressed “the imperative for the international community to act and adopt a firm and resolute position imposing on the Israeli occupation the same repressive and punitive measures imposed on others, in cases that represent only a drop in the ocean of unprecedented crimes that the occupation continues to commit against defenseless Palestinians, while boasting about it.”
“The Israeli settler occupation cannot continue to enjoy total and absolute impunity and escape prosecution and punishment for the countless crimes it has committed and continues to commit in the occupied Palestinian territories and the Palestinian neighborhood,” the statement concluded.
