Italian automaker Alfa Romeo has opened orders for the exclusive “Edizione Speciale” launch version of its new Tonale SUV, according to the company.
For the first time, the Tonale is equipped with ‘non-fungible token’ (NFT) technology which, with the customer’s consent, records vehicle data and generates a certificate which can be used as a state guarantee. of the vehicle, with a positive impact on its residual value.
This launch edition is available in hybrid configuration with a 130 hp 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine paired with the new seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an integrated 48-volt (15 kilowatt) electric motor. A 160 horsepower hybrid version will soon be available.
In terms of connectivity, the ‘Alfa Connect Services’ tool and over-the-air (OTA) updates are also included. The infotainment system has been completely revised with a telescopic instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch all-digital display and a 10.25-inch touchscreen.
In terms of safety, the new driver assistance systems enable Level 2 autonomous driving by combining the front camera, which monitors the entire car environment longitudinally and laterally, and the intelligent adaptive cruise control systems and centering on the lane.
The Alfa Romeo Tonale will be offered in two trim levels, Super and Ti. The Super finish can be customized with the Sprint pack, which includes many options with a sportier connotation.
On the other hand, the more elegant Ti finish can be supplemented with the Veloce pack, for even more performance and sportiness.
The commercial offer for the exclusive launch version includes a five-year warranty extension and three years of Premium Services and tire maintenance, available from 269 euros per month.
