After having done a good job with Mexico in it Qatar World Cup 2022it was expected that Alexis Vega could emigrate to Europa and although he did have the opportunity to do so, the player preferred to stay in Chivas.
Given this, Vega revealed the reason why he made that decision not to go to the Old continentsomething that any other player would not have even thought of.
“There are cases in which sometimes we rush just to fulfill the dream of playing in Europe and in six months or a year you’re back; with a team that we were in talks with in Europe, he wanted me to take him, he wanted me to play six months and If I didn’t do well, I would return with another Mexican soccer team.”
“I don’t see a joke in going to play for six months, with pressure because they are going to want you to adapt in the best way; due to situations like these, you make the decision not to go, not to rush that process. My family is happy that we will be more time here,” Vega said in an interview with TUDN.
Alexis assures that he always wanted to give a good performance in each of the duels of the Mexican teamonly thinking of helping the Tri and not in it, despite the fact that the World Cup is a showcase for footballers who want to come to Europe.

Alexis Vega has contract with Chivas until June 2024so he says he will wait for a good offer for his services to arrive.
