A club official told AFP that the 33-year-old had signed a one-year contract.

The striker arrived at Marseille airport on Tuesday evening, amid a raucous welcome from local fans, following Inter released him on Monday following two seasons in the Italian league, knowing that his contract expires next year and he got rid of an annual salary of seven million euros.

The player has defended the colors of Inter since 2019, first on loan from United before signing for the Italian team, with whom he won four titles, including the league title in 2021. But last season he participated in only nine matches.
